Enrolment Process
Step 1
Please complete our Expression of Interest form by clicking the green button below.
Once the Expression of Interest form has been reviewed you will receive an email asking you to arrange a visit to Harvest with your child.
Step 2
Following the school visit you will be asked to complete an online pre-enrolment form. Along with this form you will submit the usual range of documents required by a
state-integrated school.
Step 3
On completion of the pre-enrolment form and submission of documents a formal interview will take place with the principal and a proprietor's representative from the Board of Trustees. Following the interview an offer of placement can be made.
Enrolment Criteria
Harvest Christian School has been primarily established to provide an environment for learning with a Christian foundation. The Ministry of Education requires that a high proportion of our learners are considered preference applicants because they come from homes that have past or present connection to the Christian faith.
Parents and students from non-preference backgrounds must be willing to support the special character and values of Harvest Christian School.
The legislation defining integrated schools makes it clear who can attend a state-integrated school.
The Education and Training Act 2020, Schedule 6, part 26 states that:
“The children of parents who have a particular or general philosophical or religious connection with a State integrated school must be preferred to other children for enrolment at the school.”
Please read the enrolment criteria for preference and non-preference applicants HERE
Non-preference applicants who cannot enrol immediately may choose to be placed on a waiting list. Students on this list are wait-listed by date and number and will be contacted if places become available. At the end of the calendar year, the list is removed and people apply to be reinstated on the waitlist for the following year.
